Diwali - Marina test

Due to the delay in testing the works in the venue I have looked to test the animations at Ipswich Marina, While the context is completely different scale and lighting conditions are similar to those I will experience.

The key issue arising from these experiments was that the more subtle abstract animations lost definition  without completely sympathetic lighting conditions, the more graphic works fairing much better. Using the equipment available it would not be possible to effectively use the abstract imagery.

The following images were projected on a much smaller scale onto four warped ply boards. I was interested to explore how the slight variations in the surface of the
picture plain disrupted the image.
